For 75 years, the Nordic Cancer Union has been at the forefront of promoting Nordic collaboration to enhance cancer prevention and treatment. This year, the NCU is awarding 900,000 euros in research grants, marking the second time this amount has been distributed.
The call for applications saw a significant increase, with 35 submissions compared to 22 last year. Out of these, 12 projects have been selected for funding. The Scientific Committee praised the high quality of the applications.
The evaluation criteria included scientific merit, researcher caliber, Nordic synergy, and alignment with NCU’s strategic goals.
